Citrus Lane November 2015 Review + Coupon

Citrus Lane is a subscription for 0-5 year olds and each month. For $29.95/month, they send boxes filled with cool toys, books, snacks, personal care items and more. Both of my boys have subscriptions to Citrus Lane: ages: 6 and 3. This review is for my 3 year old son (dob March 2012 – if you are tracking boxes by age), however my 6 year old received the same box.
Just a note, it has been released that Citrus Lane is closing sometime in “early” 2016, but we don't know when. If you want to subscribe, I recommend going month to month, that way you can cancel anytime.
Citrus Lane starts shipping around the 17th of the month.
The information card has a list of everything in the box.
Ammo Book New York Coloring Book $9.95 This coloring book is filled with graphic pictures of landmarks in New York. The pages have pretty details and would look nice hanging up around a playroom. This book is smaller in size than the regular one Ammo sells, Citrus Lane wanted it to fit in a backpack.
Here is a look inside the book.
Handstand Kids Cooking Co Child's ‘Stars and Planets' Oven Mitt $8.99 This can be used in a play kitchen or to help mom in the real kitchen. Obviously kids shouldn't play near an actual oven though. I would have loved these even more if it came with an apron or maybe 2-3 toy cookies.
FunBites Food Cutter, Blue Triangles $10.12 This was one of the items we got to pick for customization. I really wanted the Tea Collection Shirts the younger children got. This is neat, and maybe it will help my 3 year eat more.
18 Rabbits Junior Granola Bar in Caramel Apple $1.08 This bar is organic, kosher, nut free, non-gmo, gluten free and soy free. I love that they included a snack that was allergy friendly. My kids love apples and the bit of caramel and other ingredients should make this pretty tasty.
Tiny Prints: There was a coupon to save up to 40% from Tiny Prints.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $30.14, which is about the cost of the box. The items in the box this month were fine, but nothing really impressed me. I think the younger kids got much better boxes this month. If you want to try Citrus Lane, use this link with the code Unbox50 to save 50% on your first box.
