Popsugar Must Have Box October 2015 Review
My Popsugar October 2015 Box seemed to take forever to arrive this month, maybe that's because we knew spoilers for so long. POPSUGAR is $39.95/month and filled with all kinds of fun “must have” items. You get items like makeup, snacks, items for your home, jewelry and more! First Look
This month, the box was inspired by Breast Cancer Awareness, Cozy, Autumn and Restful Nights. Popsugar Must Have donated to the Right Action for Women in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
As always, the information card contains information, descriptions and values for everything in the box.
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling $15.00 Since seeing Mindy Kaling on The Office, I have become a fan of hers. I was really happy to get her newest book in my POPSUGAR box.
This is a summary of the book “In Why Not Me?, Kaling shares her ongoing journey to find contentment and excitement in her adult life, whether it’s falling in love at work, seeking new friendships in lonely places, attempting to be the first person in history to lose weight without any behavior modification whatsoever, or most important, believing that you have a place in Hollywood when you’re constantly reminded that no one looks like you.”
Honest Company Sea Salt + Sugar Body Scrub $16.95 I really love so many products from Honest Company. I have tried many of their products, but this is one of the first body/personal care products that I have received. This has a vanilla/lavender smell and contains whole grain sugars and Pacific sea salt to clean and exfoliate.
Belgian Boys All Natural Stroopwafel $1.50 This is best eaten when warmed over a cup of coffee or hot chocolate first. This is going to go to my husband, who drinks all the warm beverages in the house.
Richer Poorer Hope Popsugar Slipper Sock $15.00 These socks are fantastic. I love the pink color for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and they are super comfortable too.
Easy Tiger Brown Paper Liquor Bag Set of 4 $8.00 These bags are great for the upcoming Holiday parties. Just slip in your favorite bottle of wine, and you will have a great gift for the host.
Savvy Sleepers ‘WHITE RUSSIAN' 100% SATIN PILLOW CASE $36.00 I have never received a pillowcase in a subscription box before and this month I received one in two different boxes. While this pillow case feels great, the real benefit is for your skin and hair. Studies have shown that sleeping on satin reduces wrinkles and prevents hair breakage.
t’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product 2 oz $9.00 This is a special bonus in the box. This leave in conditioner eliminates frizz, and adds shine.
There were two coupons by Honest Company and Savvy Sleepers and a gift card for Danielle Stevens Jewelry ($40.00 value). The cheapest item I found is the “I Heart You” Bracelet. found here for $48.00.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $101.45, and that doesn't include the $40.00 value of the gift card. This was a really nice box and it is an example of what I love most about Popsugar.
