Num-Nums Munch Box September 2015 Review
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box for review.
Num-Nums Munch Box is a snack subscription box for people with allergies or dietary restrictions. When you sign up, you choose between dairy-free, gluten-free or nut-free. You also choose between a single box and a double box. Single boxes are $21.99/month and filled with 10-12 snacks. Double boxes are $43.50/month and filled with 20-24 snacks. Many of their snacks are also free from the top 8 allergens: dairy, soy, wheat, gluten, egg, peanut, tree nut, fish, and shellfish.
I was the peanut & tree nut free box. If you read my blog, you know my 6-year-old has a peanut allergy, so I was very happy to get a box that my 6-year-old can try everything in.
The Details:
Cost: $21.00/Single Box, $43.50/Double Box
Shipping: United States
What's in the box? Each month they will send out a box containing 10-12 snacks (small) or 20-24 snacks (big). We will handpick the snack items and include a variety of snack types.
The box was filled with great snacks.
There was an invoice that included everything the box, so I am using it as the information card.
Pure Organic Wildberry Apple My kids love fruit snacks and this one is 100% organic. Made with fruits and veggies, I can feel good giving my kids this fruit strip.
Plentils Garlic & Parmesan/Marherita Pizza Plentils are chips made from lentils and free from eight of the most common allergens. There is nothing artificial in these, but the best part is they taste like regular chip. I loved the garlic an parmesan and I am giving the margherita pizza ones to my 6-year-old.
Beet Thins: These are thin baked slices of beets, just sweet and crispy. I love beets, both pickled and regular, so these were a great healthy snack. The whole bag only has 90 calories and it's resealable.
Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn I prefer my popcorn loaded with butter and salt, but that's not healthy. This popcorn will satisfy a popcorn craving but it only has 35 calories, my kids like it too.
Glee Gum: This all natural chewing gum is made with xylitol, which can be deadly to dogs, so use caution in pet friendly homes. This gum actually works to prevent cavities by neutralizing bad bacteria.
NoNuttin All Natural Granola Bar: It's unusual to find a granola bar without nuts, so this is a great addition to the box. This is apple cinnamon flavored and can be a great bar for a snack or quick breakfast.
Gimballs Gourmet Jelly Beans These are basically just like Jelly Belly Beans, but these are made with real fruit juice and filled with vitamin C.
Think Fruit All Natural Dried Cherries: These are juicy dried cherries that are healthy and great for on the go. They have the same texture as a raisin.
Stretch Island Fruit Chews: If all meals came in fruit chews, I would never have a battle at dinner. These are made with apple and pear puree and then flavored with raspberry puree concentrate. No red dye and my kids loved these.
Final Thought: It was refreshing reviewing a peanut free box. I have to be extra careful when reviewing snack boxes, because I can't let my oldest have anything with peanut. $21.00/month is a small price to pay to have peace of mind everything is safe for your child. This was a great box and I would recommend it to anyone with a loved one with a peanut allergy. Check out Num Nums Munch Box with this link.
