Nerd Block is a monthly mystery package delivered right to your door filled with nerdy apparel, toys, and collectibles! The Details
Cost: $19.95 a month plus $9.50 shipping for the U.S They ship to other countries for an additional fee.
What is in the box? “Nerd Block is filled with toys and collectibles from your favorite brands including Star Wars, Adventure Time, Doctor Who, Marvel, and many more! Every box is loaded with various genres to appeal to everyone from video game and movie fanatics, to toy and comic collectors. Each item is Geek Tested, Nerd Approved!”
When am I charged? You are charged each month on the day you registered. So if you ordered on the 10th, you will be charged on the 10th every month.
When does it ship? Boxes ship out around the 15th of the month
How do I cancel? “Just email [email protected] with your name and address, and we'll cancel your account. Please note that all orders must be cancelled 24-hours prior to that month's Block closing date. The closing date for every month can be found at http://www.nerdblock.com under the countdown timer.”
I have been getting Horror Block, but apparently I switched to Nerd Block this month. I honestly don't remember switching, but that's okay.
The theme for September is “Hyperspace”.
The information card is two-sided and has pictures and descriptions of everything in the box.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens BB-8 Plush $5.99 This little guy is featured on the new Star Wars movie! I bought the “real” one from Disney, so this plus will go to my oldest son.
Exclusive Shirtpunch T-Shirt “By Your Command” $15.00 When I switched to Nerd Block this month, I forgot to change the size for my husband. This Cylon shirt pays homage to Daft Punk's Random Access Memories cover.
FunKo Mystery Minis: Supernatural Sam with Wings $8.31 I am getting a little Funko collection. but I am sending this one to my friend. I don't watch Supernatural, but I actually knew who this was, because I have been searching my Hot Topic for the exclusive of this, for my friend. Yes Brandy, this is going in your box.
Jurassic Galaxy $10.00 This is a print of artist's Tim Doyle's popular poster, featuring a mashup of Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, Star Wars and Terminator. I am not Guardians of the Galaxy fan, but the other movies are great.
Exclusive Springz U.S.S Enterprise: $5.99 est This can sit on your dashboard or desk and you can boldly go where no man has gone before.
Final Thought: This box had a value of $55.29 (roughly). This was a nice box, but I really want Horror Block this month! My favorite item was BB-8, the Enterprise was really interesting addition.
