Citrus Lane September 2015 Review

Citrus Lane September 2015 Review

Citrus Lane is a subscription for 0-5 year olds and each month. For $29.95/month, they send boxes filled with cool toys, books, snacks, personal care items and more.  Both of my boys have subscriptions to Citrus Lane: ages: 6 and 3.   This is the box for my 3-year-old son, dob March 2012.

This month's box was larger than normal.

Citrus Lane always includes an information card with everything listed in the box.  There are also discount coupons to save you money.

Family Pets from Hape

Family Pets from Hape $13.53 This was the item we got to pick as part of our customization.  My 3-year-old loves little animals and figures, so I know this will be a hit.  All the pieces in the set are separate, so there are many possibilities to play.  I like to save all the toys from my boxes and surprise my kids at different times or save them for presents

Everything came in a little drawstring bag, so you can pretend you are going to keep all the pieces together.

Thesaurus Rex

Thesaurus Rex $6.99  This book about dinosaurs exposes your child to their first thesaurus.

This is an example of a page in the boo,. This has such a cute story and illustrations.

Hand Drum from Hohner

Hand Drum from Hohner $7,50 T loves music, so this hand drum is perfect.  This is small enough not to take up too much room and thankfully isn't too loud.

Plum Organics Mash Ups

Plum Organics Mash Ups: $2.00 each T hasn't had pouches in awhile.  T is my picky eater and these are a great source of fruits and veggies.  We received apple sauce and apple sauce with fruits & veggies.

Donation Bag from Schoola

Donation Bag from Schoola:  A donation bag was included so you can donate your old clothes and your school can get the money.  I think there is a minimum amount you have to donate to get the money to the school, but I love the idea.  If you want to try Schoola, they have some great deals on previously owned clothing, you can sign up with my referral link and get $15.00 in credit!

There was an advertisement for Care, com's new social networking app.

Mudpuppy Monsters Make-A-Mask

Mudpuppy Monsters Make-A-Mask  $9.99 Since the Janod Fishing set was recalled from last month's box, this is the replacement toy.  Granted T likes to color, but he hates things on his face or head, so this won't be used. I am a little disappointed, as I was expecting another game/activity of similar nature.

047

This is a cute set, it's just my kids won't use it.

Final Thought The total retail value of this box was $32.02, which is barely over the $30.00 cost.  I am surprised the value was so low but I do still think this was a fun box.  There were two great toys, a book and 2 snacks.  Even with the lower value, I enjoyed the box.  I didn't calculate the masks in the value, since they were a replacement item.  If you want to try Citrus Lane, check out one of the offers below.
