Boxtera has gone through some changes in ownership and their boxes have gone through a new look. I love the artwork on the box.
Do you ever look at the bottom of your boxes? I love the little guy saying “Who put this ugly label here?”
First Look in the box.
This box features an array of fall flavors.
The back of the paper has a list of everything in the box.
Fiesta Sticks: These are corn sticks with a powder salsa coating.
These have a similar taste as a Fritoes, with a tomato salsa flavor. These were my favorite snack in the box.
Spicy Fava Beans: As a long time horror movie fan, I can't think of fava beans, without thinking of Silence of the Lambs. Creepy moment aside, these crunchy fava beans have a spicy coating.
These have a look and crunch similar to a corn nut, but these are not as dense and they taste like a bean. The spice adds a nice flavor, but won't burn your mouth.
Coco Nuts: This is a mix of peanuts and coconut.
I did end up trying this, even though I really hate coconut. The taste of the peanuts takes over the taste of the snack. The coconut has a nice meaty flavor
Organic Peanut Butter Chocolate Bites: This is a combination of oats, chocolate, peanut butter, flax seeds, brown rice and rice crisps.
These chewy bites have a nice chocolate/peanut butter taste that is similar to the no bake cookies I had as a child. Moist and delicious, these are a great treat and they are also organic and vegan.
Wholly Wheat Mango Bars: These are like fig newtons only better, and filled with mango filling.
These make a great breakfast. There were four bars in the bag and they tasted like a gourmet fig newton and the mango was really good.
Ande's Specialty Roast: Boxtera is bringing coffee to their snack boxes. This coffee is from the Peruvian Andes and is a light to medium roast.
Final Thought: I really enjoyed this box and I am glad to see Boxtera is back. The snacks were fresh, tasty and something I will grab instead of an unhealthy snack. There was a nice amount of snacks in each bag and other the coconut, my family will eat everything in the box. To try Boxtera, use this with the code HALFOFF to pay only $9.95 for your first box.

This seems a lot like Naturebox. How would you compare them to each other?
Be careful when trying the “free trial”. I tried it and did not like it, so I did not subscribe. Little did I know they automatically set me up for a monthly subscription. I was not notified until after they already took my payment, and was told they do not offer refunds. The package was not set to ship for two more days, so they had plenty of time to stop it. I felt very scammed by their customer service, so beware.
