Whistle Work Box August 2015 Review – Man Box
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box for review.
I have received a few months of the woman's Whistle Work Box, so I was excited to change it up and review the Men's box for August. Whistle Work Box is a subscription box filled with fun items for your office. Boxes are $19.99/month and when you sign up, you choose a box for a man or woman. Each box will be filled with fun and useful things for your office like, office supplies, office decor, office lifestyle products, snacks, and more. I received the man box for review.
The Details:
Cost: $19.99/month for a man or woman box.
Shipping: $5.95/month to US only.
What's in the box? “Every month you will receive a new kit including work inspired products to create your work-space. It may include office supplies, office decor, office lifestyle products, snacks, etc….”
When will I get the box? Boxes ship at the end of the month.
The box always ships by USPS Priority Mail and ships in a bubble mailer.
There was so much stuff in the box this month, it didn't all fit.
First Look
The information card is a sticker on the inside of the lid. The theme for the August 2015 box is “Summer Vibes”.
SUCK UK Drumstick pen – Blue Ballpoint pen $7.87: These drumsticks let you practice your beat, while attempting to get a bit of work done. These would make for a fun distraction.
Zipper Earphone with Mic and Hard Case $15.00 Inside this hard case is a set of earbuds with a zipper and mic. The earbuds fit nicely in your ears and aren't too big or uncomfortable.
Here is a look at the earbuds. I love the zipper feature, so they don't fall off your shoulders or get in the way while your work.
Pug Coaster $4.00 This coaster is for your beverage of choice at work, especially for those times that you would rather be home (which is probably always). This coaster has a cork bottom and a hard plastic top, so it won't fall apart.
Cute Doggie Earphone Winder $3.00 I was a bit surprised to see an earbud winder, since there was a case with the earbuds in the box, but this can be for your other set. The dog's mouth unsnaps, so you can wind your earbuds and snap it back shut.
To Do List $3.14: For all the things you “Gotta Do”, this little notebook has a hard plastic case and pen.
Here is a look inside the notebook. My husband will love this, he is always using a little notebook for something
The rest of the items were Bonus Items.
Puppy House-It and Venire Dogs: The puppy' house/post it back turns into a little house, so the puppy post its stand out front. A set of 5 wooden venire dogs were included. The only thing I can think to do with these is scrapbook, but I am sure there are things I am not thinking of.
Lanyard and Crystal Light: A promotional lanyard was included, along with a Crystal Light drink drop in (wild strawberry). We really don't need another lanyard, but someone will use the Crystal Light.
Music is my Soul Guitar Bookmark: The last bonus item is a nice gold guitar bookmark.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $33.05, which is more than the cost of the box. My husband really enjoyed the drumstick pens, notebook and earbuds the most. While I didn't do a retail value breakdown of the bonus items, I was impressed by the extra goodies. Whistle Work Box is a great box to add a little fun to your workday.
