Ipsy July 2015 Review
It seems like it took forever to get my Ipsy bag this month, but it was worth the wait. Ipsy is $10.00 a month and you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think. When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.

Cost: $10.00 a month
What's in the bag? Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using.
Shipping: The Glam Bag is available only in the United States and its territories, PO Boxes, and APO, DPO and FPO boxes, and, most recently, Canada and its military locations around the world.
When will I get my Ipsy? Glam Bags are shipped around the middle of every month. You can expect your Glam Bag to arrive within 7-10 business days after it has shipped. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships.
When am I billed? You are billed the 1st of the month
How do I cancel? You can cancel from your account.

Ipsy always ships in a bright pink mailer, these are perfect to save for swapping items.
The theme for July is “Summer Lovin”.
The bag this month was a multi-colored canvas bag. I love the colors but I wish the zipper was on top, instead of on the side.
Nude Stix Magnetic Eye Color in Gilt $24.00 I was excited to get this, until I saw the color, Gilt. The color is a metallic gold color and I wear only cool colors, so this gold will not work for me. I am really quite disappointed because this is full size and comes with a sharpener!
Crown Brush Tweezers $6.50 I have had the same tweezers for several years, so it's nice to get a fresh pair. These have an angled tip, which makes it easy to get those stray hairs. I wish I got the pink pair shown in spoilers, but these are good.
Jor'el Parker Classico $21.00: This perfume has notes of Indian Tuberos, Turkish Cyclamen, and Spanish Mandarin. It has a spicy summer scent that I love!
pūr~lisse pur-bright ultra skin brightening serum $25.33 This stuff is crazy expensive full size, so this sample is the only way I will get to try it. This helps strengthen skin and prevent age spots.
City Color HD Powder $3.42 As soon as I saw this in spoilers, I wanted it. This sets your foundation, fills in fine lines and gives you a smooth matte finish.
So here is the really weird thing, the picture above is what I was supposed to receive in my bag. I was sent a completely different bag. Even my online account still shows the products above. Personally, I am thrilled with the mistake, because I love my bag more.
Final Thought: This bag had a total value of $80.25! This was a fantastic bag, even with the eye color that I didn't love (easy to swap). I received a completely different bag too! I was so happy with products I received because I didn’t like what was picked out for me at all! So I am glad I am not the only one, but it was a mistake that I was very happy to get.
I wish I’d gotten the bag you were supposed to get. I got exactly what showed in my account, and I’ve never been so bummed by ipsy. Even the crown tweezers (mine were black as well) were a let down to me since I just bought my new Tweezerman set (and as overpriced as they seem, way worth the investment). I also got the teez lipstick in a horrible matte light coral pink shade, vasanti scrub that had less than one use in a rather large empty tube, sea salt spray that after three shampoos I can still feel crunching and stickyfying my hair, and the only product I kind of like is the jelly pong pong eye liner /shadow pencil that I guess came in one plummy-bronze shade for all recipients.
