Bramble Box ships by Priority 2 Day Mail.  There was a little sticker on top of the box, indicating the theme.

First Look

On the inside of the lid, there is a sticker that lets you know all about the theme.  This month, the box turns into a little ice cream stand.  Not only is this cute and creative, but it's also eco-friendly (no waste).

Should I Share My Ice Cream by Mo Willems:  This book is about a little elephant and his decision to share or not to share his ice cream.  Mo Willems also writes the pigeon books (Don't Let the Pigeon drive the bus). T loved the book and we are going to have to pick up some elephant and piggie books.

This is a look in the book.

This box was loaded with goodies.  There were two paper hats, similar to the ones worn in old fashioned soda shops and a sheet of play money.  The money is on glossy, thick cardstock, so the pieces will hold up during play.

There was a two sided card with a menu and flavor list.  The flavors were left blank, so your child can come up with names for all the flavors.

To decorate the Ice cream stand, a book of 604 stickers were included.

There were two cups with lids, 3 cones, large pom poms for ice cream, 3 medium pom poms for cherries, tiny pom poms for sprinkles and 2 spoons.

There were full instructions on the Bramble Box blog to turn the box into the ice cream stand.  I recommend using a knife or box cutter to cut the along the lines.

After I cut the box and made the stand, T decorated it with stickers.  He didn't put too many, because he was really excited to play.

Bot of my kids got in on the fun and set up a little shop.  T was the customer and L was the ice cream shop owner.

I loved seeing my boys play together.  As you can see in the background, my boys love playing with food and playing restaurant.  This box fit in with their normal play.  They even brought some of their ice cream toys from their kitchen.

Final Thought:  This ice cream shop box is my favorite box from Bramble Box.  Each box is a new surprise and they keep coming up with such cute ideas.  I love how the box turns into the ice cream stand.  This was a really fun box and well worth the $25.00!   If you want to try Bramble Box, use this link with the code SUMMER30 to save 30% on your 1st box.
