Since summer is a great time for family and friends to get together, it's fitting the June 2015 GlobeIn theme is “Entertain”. GlobeIn is an artisan subscription box, that features artists from all over the world. Every month, you get items to use in your home, that are not only useful, but beautiful as well. I love finding unique treasures that you can't find anywhere else, and GlobeIn delivers that every month. Monthly Boxes are $35.00, but you can save 25% on the first box of a 3 month subscription with this link and the code SUBMOM.
GlobeIn comes in a square box. There was a quote on the side “Spring is nature's way of saying “Let's Party!”. – Robin Williams.
First Look. There is an information card included in the box, but they didn't get a chance to print them for my review, so the card was emailed to me. The information card lists where all the products are from, a bit about the product and the manufacturer.
Za’atar Spice Mix from Canaan Fair Trade from Palestine $8.00 Made with thyme, sumac, and olive oil, this middle eastern spice is said not only flavor your dinner, but make you smarter as well.
Oaxacan Palm Leaf Basket from Mexico $12.00 Handmade in Mexico, these baskets are my favorite part of my GlobeIn boxes. I use these all over the house, from the bathroom to the kitchen. They also make great gifts, just tuck your gift inside and add a bow!
The basket was filled with several treats!
Sun-Dried Tomato Caper Spread from Palestine $8.00 This is made by the Facqua'a cooperative, who not only help support women in business, but give emotional support as well. This spread can be used on warm bread, put on pasta, or used as a dip.
Matr Boomie Tea Time Bunting from India $14.00 This is made from upcycled Indian saris and is made using block printing. The colors are gorgeous and this will look great at a summer get together.
Set of 4 handmade coasters from Ghana $12.00: These coasters are made by hand from plastic water sachets. The purchase of these coasters gives a Ghanaian girl a month of savings.
This is a look on the back of the coasters, you can see they are really made of plastic!
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $54.00. What a fantastic box! This month, GlobeIn included many wonderful things you can use at your next party. The bunting is so unique and beautiful, I can't wait to use it. You can use this link with the code submom to save 25% on the first month of a 3 month subscription.
