I love Try the World boxes. They are super sturdy and make great storage.
First Look
Try the World includes a Culture Guide about each destination. This guide includes information about food, playlist, and movies. I love the Try the World includes all kinds of information about each destination, so you can really immerse yourself in each destination.
Second Look
There was a two-sided information card with everything in the box.
The back of the information card has a key, the categories are: family business, antique recipe, support local community, all natural/organic, and sustainable grown.
Bake Love Koo Butter Cookies: Oh these cookies are delightful. They are a combination of sweet and salty and they are a great with a glass of milk. I had to force myself to put down the bag.
Memories of Patagonia Malbec Wine Marinade: This marinade is made with fruits, Malbec Red Wine, and Honey. You can use this on lamb, pork or turkey. I am going to use this on pork chops.
MQA Gourmet Green Olive Paste: This green olive paste can be used in a number of different ways, on a sandwich, made into pesto for pasta, rubbed over meat, or put on a pizza. I am personally not an olive fan, but I will give this to a friend who loves them.
Vanoli Chimichurri Ahumado: This sauce is made from parsley, garlic, oregano, red pepper and olive oil. You can use this as a dip for meat and vegetables or use it as a marinade on your meat.
Chamana and Inti Zen Argentine Teas: This sample of three teas from Latin America are all from artisanal tea- blenders. My husband loves tea, so he will get these.
The three teas were Inca Rose, Patagonia Bee, and Chamana.
Dulcor Delce De Membrillo: This is a fruit spread that has been around since the Spanish Occupation. This is found in bolas de fraile and typical fruit-filled pies. I going to try this on toast, it looks really good.
Dona Magdalena Dulce de Leche: This is a milky marmalade, that can be put on ice cream, chocolate or cake. Dulce de Leche is also known as the National jam of Argentina.
Final Thought: I thought this was another great month from Try the World. I really want to get some pork chops and marinade some meat. My favorite thing in the box so far, was the cookies. I love Try the World and it is always fun to learn about new places. When you subscribe to Try the World, you may get a slight variation from what I received. The membrillo is great with cheese!
I am going to try that. I love cheese!
You should fix the part that says that it contains Moroccan delicacies.
Thank you.
