First Look: This month, RawSpiceBar traveled to Japan for the Spring cherry blossom festival. Using the spices in the box, you can make grilled tenderoins, avocado + soba noodles and Japanese mochi.
There was another card, that talked about the inspiration and information behind the theme this month. RawSpiceBar also gave information about this month's menu.
Matcha & Chia Mochi: This pudding is made with white rice flower, coconut milk, and the Macha + Chia Mochi seasoning. The seasoning is made with Japanese green tea powder and chia seeds.
This is a look at the seasoning.
Gomasio + Avocado Soba Noodles: Using the spicy gomasio, you can use sobe noodles, carrots, cucumber and radishes to make this great dish.
The spicy gomasio is made with tasted sesame seeds and chiles. This has a nice smokey flavor and it smells great.
Shichimi Togarashi Grilled Pork Tenderloin: I love pork tenderloin and I am really anxious to try this. This has seven flavors of chilies, which gives the tenderloin a spicy flavor.
This has a spicy smell and the black peppercorns really stand out.
