May 2015 Love with Food Review: Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box free for review.
I was excited to get a preview review box of the May 2015 Love with Food Box. Love with Food is a wonderful snack subscription box. The tasting box features eight or more snacks for only $10.00/month (plus $2.00) shipping. The is a deluxe version that features 16-20 snacks and is $19.95/month (free shipping). For those on a gluten-free diet, the gluten-free box contains 8-12 snacks for $24.50/month. I have a few great coupons for all of these boxes, including a free box offer, just read to the end of this review.
One Box One Meal
For every box Love with Food sells, they donate a meal to fight hunger in America. I love subscription box companies that give back.
Point System
Love with Food has a referral program and a point system. When you accumulate 500 points, you get $10.00 to spend in the Love with Food store. If you refer a friend to Love with Food, you will get 500 points. You can also review your snacks in your box for 10 points each.
Love with Food ships in a little red box.
The theme for May is “Fiesta Fiesta”.
The information card lists everything in the box. Love with Food lets you know if the snack is vegan, gluten-free, organic or non gmo.
Smooze Pink Guava ad Coconut Fruit Ice: This coconut and pink guava fruit ice has Vitamin C and is a great frozen treat. No one in my immediate family eats coconut, so this will go to my family member loves coconut.
Vintage Bee Hibiscus Creamed Honey: This is gluten-free, vegan all natural honey. This is made with raw honey and hibiscus flowers. I love to eat honey straight from the package, but my husband might use this for his tea.
Go Organics Candy with Blood Orange and Iced Mango Mint: This candy is gluten-free, vegan, non-gmo, and organic. I love Go Organics candies. They are a much healthier candy and my kids love them. The blood orange candy was fantastic.
Home Free Lemon Burst Cookies: We have received chocolate chip cookies from Home Free, so I was happy to get a new cookie. These lemon burst cookies were fantastic. The lemon flavor tastes like a real lemon, and not that fake flavoring. These cookies were fantastic.
Bell Plantation PB Thins: These are gluten-free and vegan. They are listed as a cracker, but they are sweet like a cracker. They have a strong natural peanut butter flavor and are fantastic.
Inka Crops Inka Corn: Oh my goodness! These are salt and vinegar corn nuts. These are vegan and gluten-free. I have already ate these and I am hoping the Love with Food store has some more.
Dick + Jane Baking Company Educational Snacks: These sugar cookies are not only tasty, but educational. Each cookie has a picture, along with the English and Spanish work for the picture.
The Better Chip Spinach + Kale Corn Chips: I will be honest, when I saw these, I thought they looked nasty. These corn chips are made with spinach and kale. These chips taste like corn chips and I wouldn't know there was spinach or kale in them, if they weren't green. I love them.
Final Thought: This was a really great box. Other than the Smooz, I will enjoy all the snacks in the box. Actually, this box is almost gone. I am hoping to buy more Inka Corn, Dick + Jane Cookies and Home Free Cookies. If you want to try the Tasting Box, use this link to get it FREE (just pay $2.00 shipping).
