First Look

The theme for May was Community Helpers.  This box was filled with activities for firefighters, librarians and police officers.

There were three zip bags of activities: firefighter, librarian, and police officer.  Each bag had a sheet letting you know about the activities in each bag.

Firefighter: There was a little paragraph about firefighters.  In this kit, there is a firefighter vest, as sticker set and two firefighter fun sheets.

There was a firefighter vest and a little plastic fireman.

Sticker and Background Sheets:  Using the sticker sheet provided, your child decorates the firehouse.

My 3 year old put on his vest and had fun with the stickers.  I had to help him peal the stickers off

This is the finished scene.

Alphabet fun sheet:  For this sheet, your child goes from A to Z in order, and then the firetruck can get to the burning building.  My almost 6 year old did this sheet and had fun with it.  My 3 year old is just learning his letters, so it will take him a bit of time to master this.

Number Fun Sheet: There was a number fun sheet that your child goes from 1 to 20.

Police Officer: This packet includes a police vest, a sticker sheet and a stolen cookies mystery

Sticker and Background sheet:  This is a similar activity to the firefighter set.  The stickers are acid free and the stickers are repositionable.  Like I have stated before, the sticker are a bit tricky to remove without tearing.

My 6 year old did this sheet and he had lots of fun!

There was a police officer vest that your child can wear.

Stolen Cookies: There is a cookie thief and it's your job to find out who it is.  There are mystery cards to go through to determine who the their is. You can use the paper cookies to cover up suspects as they are eliminated.

My boys loved the vests and they had fun running around and making siren noises.

Librarian: This packet included a sticker sheet and materials to create three books.

Sticker and Background Sheet:  There was a sticker sheet similar to the other two kits.  While my kids did like them, it would  be nice to a different activity.

Three Library Books:  I think this is my favorite activity in the box.  There were three blank books, library cards, and  over 1000 stickers to personalize each book.  My kids haven't had a chance to do these yet, but I think they will love it.

Final Thought: This box was fun and I like the community helpers theme.  My kids really liked the dress up vests and the stickers.  The cookie their mystery was really unique, as well as the library book activity.  Little Thinker Box was a fun box for both of my children.  If you want to try it out, use this link and the code SBM2015 to save 20% off all Kidables, all single Little Thinker Boxes, first box of a LittleThinker Box monthly subscription, and/or first bag of a DoodleBug Busy Bag monthly subscription.
