Ipsy May 2015 Review

There are not many subscriptions that pack value, quality and an affordable price, in one subscription, except Ipsy.  Ipsy is $10.00 a month,  you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items.  Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think.  When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.

The Details:

Cost: $10.00 a month

What's in the bag? Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using.

Shipping: The Glam Bag is available only in the United States and its territories, PO Boxes, and APO, DPO and FPO boxes, and, most recently, Canada and its military locations around the world.

When will I get my Ipsy? Glam Bags are shipped around the middle of every month. You can expect your Glam Bag to arrive within 7-10 business days after it has shipped. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships.

When am I billed?  You are billed the 1st of the month

Ipsy ships in a hot pink padded envelope.

The theme for this month is “Jetsetter”.  The bag this month is 1 of 3 different variations.

036

I really like my bag this month.  The bag is canvas and it really seems to hold a good amount of makeup.

045

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray $3.91 This spray is a leave in conditioner that is made with rosehip, argan, and coconut oils.  This also protects hair against UV rays and heat, which are two things I am most concerned with.

042

BelláPierre Cosmetics Waterproof Mineral Gel Eyeliner Pencil $14.99  I really never get excited about eyeliners, because I have so many.  This one really impressed me.  It glides right on your eyes and has a nice dark line.  It actually reminds me of my Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner, which I love.

046

AMIE Morning Dew Matte-Finish Moisturizer $1.00  This moisturizer hydrates your skin, but is matte, so your face won't look shiny.  I love the floral scent and it works great with my oily skin.  This may replace my favorite Olay.

039

Luxie Beauty Tapered Blending Brush $12.00  I love getting makeup brushes in subscription boxes.  This brush is worth more than the whole bag.  This brush is made with synthetic hair bristles and it is cruelty free.  It is also coated in a solution that keeps you from having to wash your brush that often.

038

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High-Color Lipgloss: $8.89:  This lip pencil is clear and is designed to help keep you lipstick from feathering.  This works just like your face primer, only for your lips.  There were also two little lip gloss samples.

035

Final Thought: This bag had a total value of $40.79.  I really enjoyed this bag, especially the hair conditioner.  I really love my Ipsy subscription.  You get a great value and I love they send full size products in the bag.  if you want to try Ipsy, click HERE.
