Honest Company Essentials Bundle Review
I have been an Honest Company subscriber for several months, and I realized I never wrote a review! Honest Company has a complete line of cleaning, personal care, and baby products that are all non-toxic. They have an Essential Bundle, Diaper Bundle, a Formula Bundle, and a Health and Wellness Bundle. This review is for the Essentials Bundle. It is $35.95/month plus $5.95 shipping. If you add more items to get to $50.00, you get free shipping (a much better deal). For the Essential Bundle, you get to pick 5 items from their personal care and home cleaning products. You can also add-on three products and get 25% off each one. You can also skip or cancel at any time.
Honest Shampoo and Body Wash: We were almost out of body wash for the kids, so I decided to try Honest. My kids have eczema and are very sensitive to soaps and detergent. This cleaned my kids and they didn't have any reactions. We will keep ordering this for sure.
Honest Stain Remover: I have two little boys, so it is safe to say I use stain remover regularly. I am really picky about what I use, as some work much better than others. T spilled ketsup on his clothes, so I got to try this out right away. I sprayed twice, rubbed it in and the stain washed right out. So far, this has tackled all kinds of food stains and my oldest's grass stains.
Honest 4 in 1 Laundry Packs: I only recently starting using laundry pods, and they are so convenient. These pods combine cleaning, stain fighting, brightening and softening, in one pod. These are fantastic and I haven't had any issues with these.
Honest Oxy Boost: This is basically non-toxic oxyclean. This has stain remover, whitener, color brightener, deodorizer, and water softener. I use this on our whites and have been very pleased.
Kid's Toothpaste: My kids were almost out of toothpaste, so I had to grab this. This is natural, fluoride-free and has a strawberry flavor. I haven't personally used this, but my kids haven't complained.
Sunscreen: I have really been worried about using regular sunscreen, so I decided to try Honest's mineral sunscreen. This has an spf of 50 and is non-greasy, non-whitening (non-nano!) zinc oxide sunscreen. I think it lived up to the claims, although I felt my skin was a bit shiny (small price to pay for healthy skin.)
Final Thought: I really loved everything in my Essentials Bundle. I have also use the multi surface cleaner and the bubble bath. I love Honest and I feel better cleaning with Honest products, because they are much safer around children.
