GlobeIn is an artisan subscription box, that features artists from all over the world. Every month, you get items to use in your home, that are not only useful, but beautiful as well. I love finding unique treasures that you can't find anywhere else, and GlobeIn delivers that every month. First Look
GlobeIn features a picture and description about every product, including a retail cost. GlobeIn also includes information about any company that gives back to their community or other organizations. The back of the information card features 10 ways to use coconut oil.
Dish Cloths by Toockies $12.00 These are made in a small village in India, where men make less than less than two dollars every day and then the men often use their money on alcohol or gambling. The women in this village started this business and now make double the minimum wage for India and now earn more than their husbands.
These dish clothes can be uses on all kinds of surfaces, including granite, stainless steal and walls. They are made from 100% organic cotton and jute. These handmade clothes are also washable and dishwasher safe. I love these and will use them in my kitchen.
Alter Ego Organic Mascobada Cane Sugar $10.50: This sugar come from the Philippines. My husband only buys cane sugar for his tea and coffee, so this will be used! Alter Eco alter partners with farmers around the world to grow their business and help with environmental practices.
Just Good Chocolate Better Wold Brownies $13.00: These are not only Organic and fair trade, but a portion of each sale goes to ON THE GROUND. ON THE GROUND is an organization that supports Fair Trade farming.
Big Dipper Wax Works Birthday Candles $8.00: These are made in Canada from 100% pure beeswax. I love the colors of these candles and I will use them for my next birthday party. Big Dipper also gives 10% of their net profits to promote sustainable beekeeping.
Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oii $3.95: This coconut oil comes from Sri Lamka and is a great way to reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol.
Mexico Oaxacan Palm Leaf Basket $12.00 Every GlobeIn box comes in a hand-woven basket. These are great for storing small snacks, toys, toilet paper and more. I use these all over the house.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $59.45. I loved the theme this month and I thought all the items went well together. The dish clothes are my favorite item. I love that they are neutral colors and dishwasher safe. GlobeIn is a great box to expose you to interesting artisans from around the world.
