Fortune Cookie Soap “May the 4th Be With You” Review
Fortune Cookie Soap has a subscription service,but they are best known for their awesome store. Since subscribing to Fortune Cookie Soap, `For May 4th, Fortune Cookie Soap released a special collection, “May the 4th Be With You”. If you don't already know, May 4th is Star Wars day. This collection was $37.76 and sold out that day. I had to pick it up, because I am a huge Star Wars fan and a huge Fortune Cookie Soap Fan. The box was just a plain Priority Mail box, so I didn't take a picture of the box.
“ratS htaeD” Bath Fizzy $5.99 I stared at the name of this bath fizzy forever, trying to figure out the name. I thought, “what's rats have to do with the Death Star”. Thankfully, my wonderful husband pointed out that ratS htaeD, is Death Star backwards. I am sure licensing is the reason behind the name. Anyway, this bath fizzy is awesome looking and it smells great. It is described as “kumquat, tropical pineapple and green leafy vines against a backdrop of rich vanilla and exotic, dark coconut.” This smells like a soft fruity scent.
Pump Up Your Saber Foaming OCD $6.99 This is the coolest hand sanitizer. It is a blend of “wild berries, black plum nectar, sprinkled with vanilla sugar and delicate musk”. The bottle is a pretty blue color and it's made to look like a real light saber.
Wookie Cookie Fortune Cookie Soap $4.99 This Fortune Cookie is made to look like a Wookie. This smells very fruity/floral. This is a mix of “fresh squeezed citrus, with violets and lilies, hints of bartlett pear and a whiff of peonies.”
May the Scent Be with You $10.99 This is a mix of vanilla/and fruity scents. Fortune Cookie Soap says this “calm, salty air with hints of summer apricot and sea grass, float gently on ocean waves.” This is an interesting scent and I really like it.
Come to the Darth Side Whipped Cream $12.99 This is a mix of “crunchy, oatmeal cookies and sugary vanilla bean frosting, blended delightfully with honey and hints of almond “. This smells like a big cookie. I love the whipped cream. This stuff is the most moisturizing lotion ever. I love this stuff and it is my most used hand lotion.
Second Star to the Right mini jar: This was a free bonus in my box and is part of the Summer 2015 Fortune Cookie Soap Subscription. This is a fruity scent and I love it. I also love the Peter Pan reference.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $41.95 and I personally loved this box. I love Fortune Cookie Soap and I wish I could buy more of that OCD hand santizer. I just discovered this company recently and i was super bummed that I missed this collection. Thank you for reviewing it. I have been asking them to rerelease this set later in the year when the movie airs. Hope they do! I too am a big Star Wars fan.
