Citrus Lane April 2015 Review – 3 & 5 Year Old Boys + Coupons + May Spoilers

I had heard there was Green Toys in the April 2015 Citrus Lane boxes, so I was excited to get our box. My kids love Green Toys, so I was excited to see what we would get. Citrus Lane is $29.00/month and each box is filled with all kinds of goodies for you child: books, snacks, toys, and more. Boxes are aged for children 0-5. The boxes for my 3-year-old and 5-year-old are exactly the same, so I am only doing one review.
Citrus Lane ships by USPS and arrives between the 17 and the 22nd of the month.
There was an information card with everything in the box.
Stephen Joseph Dinosaur Lacing Cards: $9.95 This is a set of 5 lace up dinosaur cards. These are pretty cute and T (age 3) will love them. I think they are too young for my 5-year-old. He learned to master these type of cards a few years ago, so I will save my 5 years olds to gift or trade.
This is a look at the cards. I love the colorful cards and the laces.
My Big Barefoot Book of Wonderful Worlds $19.95 This is a custom format especially for Citrus Lane subscribers. This book is full of over 700 words. This book is great for my 3 year old's vocabulary and since my 5 year got the same book, we can use the book to practice his reading skills. It would have been nice to get a different book for one of my kids, but I may try to trade one.
This is a look inside the book.
Green Toys Mini Fastbacks $10.00 est : This is an exclusive set of mini cars from Green Toys. I don't mind having two sets of the same cars, since both of my kids love cars.
Whole Grain Cookie from My Super Cookies $1.00 These cookies are made in a nut free facility (yeah for my little boy!). These are also non-gmo, they have 18 grams of whole grains and vitamin C. These little cookies are shaped like little superheros. These are super cute and are something I don't mind giving my kids.
Citrus Lane is celebrating “Acts of Green”. Just share a picture of your family's acts of green and you can win eco-friendly prizes. Citrus Lane also included a year of Elite Membership to yogadownload.com for only $29.00 (reg $90.00).
Final Thought: This box had a total value of around $40.90. While I did have to estimate on the Green Toys, I think this box was more than the cost of the box. I really liked this box for my three-year old, but I was disappointed that my 5-year-old received the same items. Both boys will love the cars, but the lacing cards are a bit too young for my 5-year-old. I also wish we would've received a different book for my oldest, but it is something I can trade.
