April 2015 Nerd Block Jr Girl Review + Coupon
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box for review purposes.
I wasn't expecting both girl and boy Nerd Block Jr boxes this month, but I didn't mind reviewing both. Nerd Block Jr is a fun box for kids 6-12, filled with toys, collectibles, and goodies from popular tv shows, movies and more.
The Details:
Cost: $13.99 plus $6.00 shipping
Coupon: To subscribe to Nerd Block Jr, click HERE and use the code SUPERHERO to save 10%.
What's in the box: Nerd Block Jr. is filled with toys, games, and collectibles from your kids favorite brands including Star Wars, Disney, Adventure Time, My Little Pony, Angry Birds, and many more!
When am I charged? Initially, you will be charged for your first Block at the time you register for your subscription. Then, you will be billed at the beginning of every month for that month’s subscription (January block is billed on 1 January). The monthly billing closes on the 8th of the month.
For example, if you subscribe on January 10th, that payment will be applied to February Block (remember, the closing date for January was the 8th). Your next billing will occur on March 1st for the March Block.

If you subscribe prior to the closing date for that month’s Block (you subscribe on January 7th or prior) you will be billed immediately for January’s Block and your next payment will occur February 1st for February’s Block.

The closing date can be found on the homepage (hint: it’s the countdown timer).
When does it ship? Nerd Block Jr. is sent out at the same time as Nerd Block – approximately the 15th of every month, give or take a day. Once your Nerd Block Jr. is shipped, you'll receive an email notifying you of your tracking information!
How do I cancel? Cancelling a subscription is easy! Just email [email protected] with your name and address, and they will cancel your account. Please note that all orders must be cancelled 24-hours prior to the 1st of every month.

The girl Nerd Block Jr boxes are a pretty purple. Nerd Block comes from Canada and they ship worldwide.
Disney Reusable Sandwich and snack bag: $13.44 I don't think this sandwich bag was made for American markets, so it was tough to get a retail price. This little pouch has a thermal liner to keep things cold. This is a perfect way to keep your lettuce from getting warm by lunchtime. This can also be used as a snack container, although it only Velcros shut on the front, so you could have snack spill, if you aren't careful.
Monster Factory Colin Mini $12.95 This was a new company for me. Monster Factory has a line of little monsters, all with personalities and names. This is Colin, “Colin divides his time between playing video games and fretting about his future.” At first, I thought Colin didn't have arms, but they are actually tucked into his hoodie.
Adventure Time Mad Libs: $3.99 I had several Mad Libs as a child, so I know these are fun for kids. This Mad Libs is themed around the show Adventure Time. My son likes the show, but he will need help with this, as he doesn't know the terms nouns, adjectives, etc. I will probably save this for when he is older.
Official Sonic the Hedgehog Collector's Edition Bouncy Ball $11.99 Both boy and girl Nerd Block Jr boxes received this ball. This is a collector's edition Sonic ball. The price seems high for a ball, but I think it is because it is a collector's edition. My kids won't care about the collectible part. This his a nice bounce and both of my kids have been playing with the Sonic balls from our boxes.
Sanrio Hello Kitty Monsters Collection Phone Charm Tomy $5.50 Blind bags of all kinds are such the rage right now. My kids love watching blind bag openings on YouTube. This pack features a different Hello Kitty, dressed as a monster.
We received the Hello Kitty Vampire Monster. You can use this as a charm for a phone or hang it from a book bag.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $47.87. I thought this was a cute month and it had a nice mix of items that weren't all super girly. The Frozen and Hello Kitty items will be the biggest hits from the box. Nerd Block Jr is a great box for 6-11 year olds. There aren't many toy boxes for this age range, and I think Nerd Block Jr does a pretty good job with their boxes. You can try Nerd Block Jr using this link and the code SUPERHERO to save 10%.
