First Look
There was a note on top that introduced me to Joe's Brew Club.
Red Rock Roasters Costa Rica Whole Bean : $11.25 (shipping $5.75) This coffee is rated as a medium to dark coffee. This coffee smells incredible and has a bit of a chocolate smell to it. It is described as well-balanced and silky-bodied. My husband prefers a very light coffee, but he was very surprised how much he enjoyed this coffee.
Biscotti: This biscotti comes from Joe's Brew Club and all four pieces arrived in great condition. This is the first time I have received biscotti in a subscription box in great condition. The biscotti was really fresh and tasted great. We tried the blueberry vanilla
The Chocolate Cartel Dark Chocolate Bar $4.25 As promised, Joe's Brew Club included some chocolate. This is a huge 2.7 oz bar of 73% dark chocolate. This has a nice, rich dark taste, but it's not too dark for my tastes. The bar is huge and will last me a long time.
The Chocolate Cartel Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans $1.79 This .8 oz bag of coffee beans is covered in dark chocolate. I am excited for my husband to make this, so I can enjoy the wonderful smell.
Final Thought: i couldn't get a full retail value of the box, because I couldn't get a price for the biscotti. Without the biscotti, the box had a value of $23.24. I feel everything in the box is close to the retail price of the box. My husband and I really enjoyed this box. Joe's Brew Club has a talent for picking out great coffee and biscotti. This was a great box and we would never have known about the coffee, had it not been for Joe's Brew Club.
