Birchbox is a beauty box that is one of the most affordable boxes on the market. Birchbox is $10.00/month and in each box, you get 5 sample beauty products. Birchbox often has special curated boxes, so I signed up for a second account. When you use the code 10FORME, you will get 100 bonus points, which is equal to $10.00 to spend in the Birchbox store.
When you sign up, you fill out a profile, so Birchbox can customize your box to your preferences. There is a regular monthly box and they also have guest editor boxes. Birchbox releases spoilers and a full reveal of the guest editor boxes, so you will know which box to choose. I actually have two Birchbox subscriptions. This is the box for my newest account.
Here is the details about the Birchbox Point System
For every 100 points you earn, you get $10.00 to spend in the shop. There are lots of ways to earn points too!
1. Subscribe Click HERE and use the code 10FORME to get 100 bonus points when you sign up.
2. Review Your Products: You get 10 points for every sample review you complete. Each box contains 4-5 products, so that is around $5.00 in points you can earn monthly! This makes the box $5.00 a month. If you use the 50% off code, this makes your first box FREE.
3. Shop!: For every dollar you spend in the Birchbox Store, you earn 1 point for each dollar spent on full-size products in the Birchbox Shop.
4. Refer Your Friends: For every friend you refer to Birchbox, you will earn 50 points
I was really surprised to see my Birchbox on my doorstep so early.
I couldn't decide on what sample to choose, so I choose the Rent the Runway/Birchbox collaboration box.
Rent the Runway is a rental service for dresses. You pay a small fee and can rent dresses worth hundreds of dollars. Rent the Runway sent a coupon for $30.00 off your $75.00 purchase.
If you pick a special curated box, you know exactly what is in the box. I actually forgot what was in the box, but I was still excited to see it in my mailbox. I had actually forgotten what was in the box.
Not Soap, Radio Body Wash $1.77: This body wash is made with pheromones and scented with blackberries and vanilla. The official scent is “The stuff that Cupid dips his arrows in (because sometimes fate needs an assist).” I am not sure if these has magical powers. but my husband said I smelled really good.
Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo $10.00 I have never been a big fan of dry shampoo, but I liked everything else in my box, so that's why I picked it up. I might end up trading this.
derma e Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub $3.19 This cleanser cleans your pores, freshens your skin, and fades dark spots. This really made my skin feel clean.
theBalm Read My Lips .50 cents I love the Balm cosmetics and this gloss is pretty great. It isn't sticky and it stays put for a long time.
Sumita Beauty Raina Contrast Eye Pencil $4.81 This pencil is in navy blue and I was afraid it was a bit to 80's, but it looks pretty good!
This is a swatch of the lip gloss and the eyeliner.
Final Thought: This post contains $20.27. I really liked this box. The body wash, face scrub, eyeliner, and lip gloss are all fantastic. I won't probably use the dry shampoo but that's okay. I really love Birchbox and the points systems makes it a fantastic value. Use the code 10FORME when you subscribe, and you will get 100 bonus points, which is equal to $10.00 to spend in the Birchbox store.

Ditto to everything you said. I chose it for the same reason and I too don’t know what on Earth to do with Dry Shampoo but wanted the other items so I chose this (with my other account I chose the makeup remover). I was hoping the Sumita would come in a bright color.
I chose the makeup remover on my other account too! How funny!
