Little Passports Early Explorers Review – Welcome Kit
Little Passports has released a new subscription for children 3-5 years old, Early Explorers. Early Explorers follows the travels of Max, Mia and their dog Toby. Every month, your child will learn about a new theme: animals, music, etc and each month, they will get souvenirs, a 20-page activity booklet, flashlight adventures, and stickers and wall decals. To get your child started, they will get a Welcome Kit. The welcome kit has everything your child needs to get started. I was sent the welcome kit to review, and I was excited to check it out with L (5 1/2).
The Details: $14.95
Cost: Early Explorers (3-5 years) $14.95, World Edition (5-10 years), and the USA edition (7-12 years) $11.95.
What's in the box? There are three different subscriptions:
- Early Explorers: $14.95/month (ages 3-5) Your child will get an explorer kit the first month. There will be a fun orange suitcase, Wall-sized World Map. 20-page activity booklet, Luggage Tag, Stickers and wall decal. Country specific packages filled with a 20-page activity booklet, souvenirs, flashlight Adventures, stickers and wall decals
- World Edition: $11.95/month (ages 5-10) Your child will get an explorer kit the first month. It will be a suitcase with everything your child needs to get started. Country specific packages filled with fun souvenirs, letters, stickers, photos, activity sheets and more arrive every month thereafter.
- USA Edition: $11.95/month(ages 7-12) Kick-off your USA adventure with the first month’s Discovery Kit which includes a letter from Sam and Sofia, a USA Field Guide, a USA scratch book, a map, and a camera. Sam and Sofia then travel to two new states every month and send an activity-packed travel journal with stickers, postcards, pop-out models and access to online activities.

Early Explorers ships in a cute blue and white box. The box comes addressed to your child! My son loves seeing his name on mail.
Everything was tucked inside this cute suitcase. My son loves putting his little collections and papers in different “special boxes”. This little suitcase is the place where your child can store their monthly treasures and activities.
This is a look inside the suitcase. There is a label inside the suitcase for your child to put their name.
There was a passport/activity book in the box. This had tons of activities and things to do!
Right inside the book, there is a checklist of things your child can do when they get their kit. There is also a little cartoon introduction about Mia, Max and Toby.
There is a sheet of passport stickers to put on the correct continents. L and I had a good time discussing each continent.
Here is a sneak peek at two of the activities. The first activity was a maze and the second activities was a story that you put in order. The activities in the passport book helped your child write numbers, learn about continents and major landmarks, matching, coloring, colors, tracing and more. Your child will work on all the basic preschool activities, while teaching them about the world.
The very back of the book had an answer guide for all the activities. I assume this is for children to help check their work.
The small picture of Mia, Max and Toby is a sticker for your child to put on their wall. The continent stickers and round character stickers are made to put on the suitcase.
My son liked putting stickers on his suitcase.
The map is HUGE. It is about 33 inches by 22 inches. I was really impressed by the quality of the map. Instead of a plain paper map, the map is made of a thin plastic. Given this subscription is for 3-5 years old, I am impressed Little Passports kept the rough and tumble nature of kids, when designing the materials.
Final Thought: Early Explorers is a great little subscription for children. Early Explorers packed many different activities in the passport. L and I completed a couple of the activities in the passport, and there are several more my son hasn't completed.
