January 2015 Julep Maven Add On Review + Free Boxes – “The Chrysalis Collection”

Julep is a fantastic nail polish and beauty subscription box. The January Collection is called “The Chrysalis Collection”. There are several great welcome boxes you can get right now. I couldn't wait to check out my Julep box this month. I did several add ons this month, so I wasn't sure if everything would come in the same box.
First Look: I quickly realized this box was just my add ons.
There was a coupon for a free polish with purchase in my box. Keep reading, as I have a full list of Julep store coupons at the end of this review. The bonus treat this month were some Junior Mints. I thought this month had very interesting colors. There were a couple colors I really liked, but I wasn't blown away by the whole collection.
Holographic Chevron Nail Stickers: I added these on to my box, because they looked so pretty. They are so shiny, I thought they would add some nice flair to my nails.
Luna (It Girl) $11.20 This polish reminded me of Elsa. It had a frozen look to it and I loved the chunky glitter. I was going to show you a swatch on my nails, but my hands are a bit dry and my cuticles need some TLC.
Here is the offical swatch from Julep. This is a very accurate representation of the color.
Orbital Eyeshadow -Terra $14.40 I fell in love with this color, but I was nervous how it would look with my blue eye/pale complexion. It turns out to be just as beautiful in person. You can build the color for a more dramatic look too. (swatch picture below)
Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment in Sheer Pink $19.20 Julep released the Luxe Lip conditioning treatment, I believe last year. This treatment moisturizes your lips and now there are new colors. This sheer pink is exactly that, sheer. This is perfect for day to day.

Glycolic Hand Scrub $18.40 This was my free gift for adding on 3 items to my box. I tried this hand scrub last night and I liked it. My hands feel better than they did before. My hands are super dry due to the weather, so I needed this.
Final Thought: I love all my add ons this month. i think I am going to wear Luna over a darker polish and I can't wait to use my nail stickers. Terra ended up being as beautiful as I had hoped.
