Doodle Crate is a subscription box for children 9 to 16+.
Doodle Crate projects are designed to produce fun and creativity. Each monthly crate encourages children and teens to gain confidence and learn new techniques. Doodle Crate is $19.95/Month but you can use the code SHARE10 to save $10.00 on your first box.
I received the premier Doodle Crate for review. I believe this was the November 2014 box.
Doodle Crate comes in a blue box and ships by USPS
First Look
There was a full fold out information card, that told out to complete the craft. The craft this month was Painted Canvas Pouches.
Skills learned in this box:
- Paint Resist
- Pom-Pom Making
There were four colors of paint, four paint cups and a sponge
There was also some tape and yarn
There was a bonus gift: a journal and a blue glitter pen.
There were two different canvas bags. One was a long pencil bag and a more makeup sized bag.
The directions walked you through step by step. This craft was easy but it was fun to be creative.
I did two different techniques on my bags.
Here are my finished bags! I really liked the projects and they were really fun to make.
Final Thought: I really loved Doodle Crate. This was a fun craft subscription and I may subscribe for myself. While the crafts are made for children and teens 9 and up, an adult can easily have fun with this crate. If you want to try Doodle Crate, click HERE and use the code SHARE10 to save $10.00.
