Julep December 2014 Review -The Countdown Collection + Free Boxes

Julep's December Collection is “The Countdown Collection” If you are new to Julep, Julep is mainly a nail polish company that is really branching out into other beauty products. This month, Julep debuted the the Orbital Eyeshadows. These eyeshadows were all beautiful and it was hard to pick just one. If you want to sign up for Julep Maven, keep reading till the end. I was really excited to check out my box this month. I added on some add ons and I couldn't remember what I bought.
First Look
There is always a card with that month's theme on it.
I received a bonus gift in this box, since I did three add ons. I was sent the Blank Canvas Lip Primer. This is a great product and I like to wear it under my lipstick. There was also a coupon to get a free polish with a $15.00 or more order, just use the code COLORFUN. There is always a treat in the box, so this month was peppermints!.
Rochelle
Rochelle It Girl Finish: Shimmer. This is described as a boysenberry shimmer. It is a beautiful color.
Ilga Classic with a Twist Finish: Crème Rich. This is described as a bordeaux crème. I love berry colors in winter. They are my favorite nail polish colors and I wear them way into spring.
Nell It Girl Finish: Glitter This is a blushing holographic full-coverage glitter. This was an add on polish. It is my goal to own every Julep glitter polish. I love them all! This is a great polish to use over Ilga or Rochelle.

I got Supernova in my monthly box and added on Moonbeam. I love them both, but Supernova is a bit darker than I expected. Moonbeam is gorgeous and I love it to brighten up my eye area.
Here are two swatches, but I think the swatch kinda stinks. Moonbeam appears very light and Supernova looks like a bruise. Well, just know they look better in person. I have yet to perfect swatching.
Gel Eyeliner Sharpener: I generally don't have eyeliners that need sharpening, but I love the new gel eyeliners from Julep. I picked this sharpener up, as I need something to sharpen the eyeliners.
Final Thought: I really loved my box this month. I don't like Supernova as much as I thought I would, but Moonbeam is so pretty. I love all the polishes this month and the touch decision, is picking one to wear. If you want to join Julep, check out the free box offers below.
