There has been much talk about the December 2014 Loot Crate. This crate is an Anniversary crate, so everyone has been expecting a fantastic box. The exclusive Pop figure had me excited. This Loot Crate box was pretty big this month. I always post spoilers, so I already knew what was in the box.
First Look
Information Guide: Loot Crate always has great information guides. They are packed with interviews and pictures of everything in the box. There is even an interview with Stan Lee this month!
Exclusive The Joker Batman-Batman Pop! Vinyl Figure: min $8.95 This is a mashup of the Joker and Batman. I have to say this is really awesome. Batman is sporting the Joker's evil grin and the Joker's colors. I put the regular retail value of Pop figures, but since this is an exclusive, it will go for more on Ebay.
Tetris Sticker Set – 147 Stickers $7.65 I never knew the term for these shapes were Tetrimino. I love Tetris, and while this is my husband's box, I totally love these. I am hoping C lets me have these. Tetris is the only game I have ever beat. There are 147 stickers with patterns to create different shapes. AWESOME!
Simpsons “Cast Mighty Wallet” $15.00 This wallet feel like paper but it is water and tear resistant. There are two main compartments and four other places to store credit cards, pictures and other important stuff. The wallet has all the Simpsons characters on it. C is going to love this.
Here is a closer look at the wallet
Avengers Captain America Air Freshener – Vanilla Scented $1.69 This is a vanilla scented air freshener. This will work great in C's stinky car.
Exclusive Dancing Groot Crew Socks by HVP Hosiery: These are awesome socks from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. This is actually baby dancing Groot. They have Groot on the side and the phrase “I am Groot” on the side.
Here is another look at the socks.
Exclusive Ghostbusters Door Hanger: This is also the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters. I am a huge fan of the movies, as is my husband. I think C will use this at work, maybe. It would have been cool to get some slime in this box though.
Exclusive Batman Comic Book Issue 36: $3.99 This is the Endgame issue #36. The cover is Exclusive Loot Crate by Greg Capullo. Once again, I used the regular retail value of the issue, but the exclusive will sell for more.
Crunchyroll: This is a free 30 day trial for Crunchyroll, which has tons of Anime videos.
There was a candy cane, that didn't quite make it in one piece. I actually haven't seen any whole candy canes this month from Loot Crate. There was also a Loot Crate Anniversary button.
Everything in the box.
The Box: Once again, Loot Crate sent an exclusive box that turns into a playset. This box transforms into the Batcave, complete with computer!
Final Thought: I didn't do a complete retail value total, since some exclusive items didn't have prices, like the door hanger and socks. This was well worth the cost of the box and I thought this crate was awesome. It would have been neat to have something like slime, instead of a door hanger, but I was happy.
