Birchbox is such a great subscription, that I recently signed up for a second account. Birchbox is only $10.00 a month and you can earn great awards. Each month you will get a box filled with 4-5 beauty, grooming, and lifestyle samples from both up-and-coming and well known brands. You get a box of various samples each month and if you like them, you can buy the full size in the store.
When you sign up, you fill out a beauty questionnaire, so Birchbox can better pick your products. You can find your profile by clicking on “Account Settings” in your account. Click “Edit Profile,” fill out the questionnaire, and then save your preferences.
Here are the details about the points system. For every 100 points you earn, you get $10.00 to spend in the shop. There are lots of ways to earn points too!

2. Review Your Products: You get 10 points for every sample review you complete. Each box contains 4-5 products, so that is around $5.00 in points you can earn monthly! This makes the box $5.00 a month. If you use the 50% off code, this makes your first box FREE.
3. Shop!: For every dollar you spend in the Birchbox Store, you earn 1 point for each dollar spent on full-size products in the Birchbox Shop.
4. Refer Your Friends: For every friend you refer to Birchbox, you will earn 50 points for every person you refer!

When am I billed? When you place your order for the monthly membership, you will be billed for your first Birchbox immediately. For the women’s Birchbox, you will be billed on the first day of each month after your first shipment. For the men’s Birchbox, you will be billed on the 15th of each following month.

I was really surprised to see my Birchbox so early. It was a pleasant surprise.
Every month (or quite frequently), Birchbox releases a special box. Birchbox releases everything in the box, so you know exactly what you will get. I decided to get the Lo Bosworth “Get the Party Started Box”.

Joie Folle de Joie eau de parfum $2.00 This perfume is a mix of mandarin, rose and sandalwood. I have a severe cold and can't smell anything right now.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (24-Hour Miracle Cream) $1.86 This is a moisturizer from France. You can also use this as a primer and makeup remover.
Natural Teach Replumping Shampoo and Conditioner (sample): These were bonus samples of the shampoo and conditioner. This helps hydrate your hair and its made for all hair types.
Davines Replumping Superactive $19.75 You apply this to your damp hair and it stengthens your hair and leaves it super shiny
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain $9.00 est As you may already know, I love lip products. This is a great neutral color, and a little goes a long way
RUFFIAN Nail Lacquer $10.00 I have received RUFFIAN nail polishes from Birchbox before, and I loved the coverage. This is a pretty red and perfect for the holidays.
Final Thought: The total value of this box was $42.61. I am really happy with the Lo Bosworth “Get the Party Started Box”. I love the hair serum and the nail polish. Birchbox is a fantastic value!
