Birchbox is one of the oldest subscription boxes and it is only $10.00 a month. Birchbox is a great subscription, because not is it affordable, but you can earn great awards. Each month you will get a box filled with 4-5 beauty, grooming, and lifestyle samples from both up-and-coming and well known brands. You get a box of various samples each month and if you like them, you can buy the full size in the store.
When you sign up, you fill out a beauty questionnaire, so Birchbox can better pick your products. You can find your profile by clicking on “Account Settings” in your account. Click “Edit Profile,” fill out the questionnaire, and then save your preferences.
Here are the details about the points system. For every 100 points you earn, you get $10.00 to spend in the shop. There are lots of ways to earn points too!

2. Review Your Products: You get 10 points for every sample review you complete. Each box contains 4-5 products, so that is around $5.00 in points you can earn monthly! This makes the box $5.00 a month. If you use the 50% off code, this makes your first box FREE.
3. Shop!: For every dollar you spend in the Birchbox Store, you earn 1 point for each dollar spent on full-size products in the Birchbox Shop.
4. Refer Your Friends: For every friend you refer to Birchbox, you will earn 50 points for every person you refer!

When am I billed? When you place your order for the monthly membership, you will be billed for your first Birchbox immediately. For the women’s Birchbox, you will be billed on the first day of each month after your first shipment. For the men’s Birchbox, you will be billed on the 15th of each following month.

Everything came in a brown box, but I didn't take a picture of it. Every month, you can not only choose a sample for your box, but you can upgrade and buy products that will ship with your box.
Make Luminous Lip Gloss in Dragon Fruit: $25.00 Make not only makes great beauty products, but they give 10% of the sales on Birchbox to the We See Beauty Foundation. The gloss has a great pink pigment and it isn't sticky.

I was excited to check out what samples were in my box this month.
This month, Birchbox partnered with RED, to raise awareness and money for the global fight against AIDS. For every picture subscribers share with the tage, #sheRED, Birchbox will donate $1.00 to the cause.

Camille Beckman Platinume Gold Imperial Repair Hand Therapy $1.00 This is a super thick lotion that smells of lemongrass and grapefruit.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive $5.07 This is a great peel. I tried it out and wow, it really works. I thought it smells pretty good too. It left my skin feeling amazing
Laura Mercier Longwear Creme Eye Pencil-Violet $12.00 I am guessing on the price of this, because I can't find the full size amount. I am normally not a fan of getting eyeliners, but this violet eyeliner is wonderful. It has staying power and a great color!
Toni & Guy Classic Shine Gloss Serum $15.00 I have thick frizzy hair, and this smooths it out and makes it less crazy. I was also really excited that this was full size.
Make Eye Makeup Remover $5.50 This eye makeup remover not only removes that waterproof mascara, but it also soothes your skin. This worked really well removing the eyeliner. I like the little bottle too. It will be perfect to take traveling.
Chuao Mini Chocolate Bar: This is chocolate and bacon together. I like both independently, but together, AMAZING. If you have never tried chocolate and bacon, please try it.
Final Thought: The total value of this box is $38.57. This was an amazing box and I love everything in the box. The eyeliner is beautiful and the makeup remover worked great taking it off.
