I love Wantable’s makeup box, but I’m a little peeved at them. I wonder if anyone else had the same experience this month. My August box came with one lipstick and two glosses, all of which are nearly identical in color. This makes me think there isn’t much human selection in the process. I love lipstick, so I’m not really that disappointed and I want to keep them – I’ll just change my profile for next month. What really annoyed me though is that I received a Vincent Longo “Bronzer.” Yes, it’s called “Bronzer.” Bronzers are on my Wantable “dislike” list. Wantable “guarantees” it won’t send items of subscribers’ “dislike” list. So I emailed Wantable, explaining that bronzers are on my dislike list, and asked if I could return it for a replacement, as I love the lip products and want to keep them. Incredibly, they denied my request, claiming that the Vincent Longo Bronzer isn’t really a bronzer, but that it is really a highlighter that creates a glow from inside. Huh? Sounds like a bronzer to me. So I opened the package, and guess what, it looks like a bronzer too. I am really disappointed with Wantable. I’ll see what happens next month. If I get all lip products again, or products that I already have, or products on my on my “dislike” list, I’ll cancel my subscription. That will make me very said, as Wantable has been my favorite up till now.
