Paper Dots is a book subscription box, that sent me this box to review. Paper Dots is $24.00 a month for a paper back and $30.00 a month for a hardback book. In your box, you will also get a bonus item. When you sign up, you fill out a questionnaire, so they can match you with the right book.

Bonus Extra Magnifying glass: Paper Dots always included a bonus item in their boxes. In this box, they included a magnifying glass. It fits with the suspense/mystery book theme. This can also be used to read the book. I gave this to my 5 year old, who thinks it is the greatest thing ever.
Final Thought: This month had a great book. I love the book selection this month. While the book is only $9.99 on Amazon, I wouldn't have selected this book to read, without this subscription. I think that this would be an awesome subscription….at a lower price point.
What book costs 24.00? :/
I tried this subscription because it is an awesome concept. I wasn’t unhappy with the items. Its just that I can’t see how they justify the price. My book had a retail value of $14. The gift had a value of $2.38. I paid $25 plus S+H on top of that for just this month. It looks like the value of the box reviewed here was even less than mine. Am I missing something?
The price is a little crazy – go to a library and get a free book recommendation from an expert by telling them your preferences 🙂
