First Look: I was really impressed with how this box was packaged. Everything was packed so neatly!
Japan Crate included an information card which said what each item is, and a description. They also included what the item was called in Japanese.
Tanoshii Oshushi Yasan (Sushi Candy) This is grape flavored sushi candy. This is a fun little kit to make your own sushi candy.
Hokkaido Potato Chips: These are chips made with the Hokkaido potato. These are really good and don't have too much salt.
Sardine Cracker: These are crackers flavored with sardines. I will admit, I wasn't brave enough to taste them, but my 2 year old loved them.
Sweet Potato Cough Drops: These are sugar free. These were not a hit in our house. They had a weird smell and we weren't a fan.
Strawberry cake flavored candy: This is a hard candy and a combination of strawberry candy and cream sponge cake flavored.
Cookie Chocolate: This is chocolate and cookies mixed together. These are really really good.
Matcha Green Tea Pocky: This is Pocky (breadsticks with candy coating) with green tea flavoring.
Neru Neru Ne: This is soda flavored candy. You get powders and add water to make the candy. Since the package is in Japanese, Japan Crate sent instructions on how to make the candy.
Apollo Chocolate: Meiji Apollo Chocolate is one of the most popular strawberry flavored chocolate. These are pretty good. Very fresh and a nice combination of chocolate and strawberry.
Chococones: These are chocolate covered cookie cones. These are really good. I love chocolate and cookies together.
Final Thought; This was a great box. There was a wide variety of Japanese snacks that I have never head of before. I love the Chococones and the potato chips the most. I haven't had the opportunity to try new Japanese snacks. If you want to try Japan Crate, click HERE.
