Callibox July 2014 Review
Callibox is a new subscription box that sends 3 to 5 handmade items each month. I was given a discount code to try Callibox. I love handmade items and I regularly check out new vendors on Etsy. I love having unique items, rather than the same item everyone else has, unless it's a designer purse. I also like supporting small businesses.

Cost: $20.00/monthly, $25.00/1 time box, $12.50/Mini box (2-3 items). $30.00/Themed boxes (one time only)
Shipping: Free Shipping
Details: As a subscriber, each month you will receive a curated box that contains 3 to 5 Handmade Items. Each item is selected from Artisans who are making their products in the USA.
When does the box ship? Ship dates are the 3rd – 5th of each month.

The box was a rectangle and cute. It was secured with a ribbon and sticker.
Callibox included an information card with links to all the artists in the box. I love it when businesses do this!
Purse and Pocket Quote Magnet $4.00 The quote on this magnet reads “Liberty, taking the word in its concrete sense, consists in the ability to choose.” Simone Weil I like this quote and will add it to my magnet collection.
Meyer Market Designs $8.00: There are two card in the box. One is for birthday and one is a Thank You note. I like both of these cards, because they can be used for so many people. I do think $8.00 for two cards is a bit expensive though.
Ribbon Bookmarks $4.00: This was made by the Callibox team. This wrap around a book to mark your place. I didn't know how these work, but they work for all my books I am reading right now, which if you are wondering, is two.
For the Love of Suds Lip Balm $3.00 I don't drink margaritas but I like the smell. When I put this on, I imagine myself on a nice beach somewhere.
JCSpock Flexible Refrigerator Magnet $4.00 This magnet is made on FSC certified and recyclable/eco-friendly photo paper. The card on the package is also made form recycled material. This is cute, but I wish there wasn't two magnets in the same box.
Bottle Opener Key Chain $4.00: This was made by Callibox. It is a key chain with a flag bottom front. This is a bit big and I don't find myself needing a bottle opener on my keys.
Whimsical Button Bow Earrings $5.00: These are cute and something I will save for Veterans Day and 4th of July.
Handmade In Chico Monthly Quote Magnet $6.96. The magnet is made on a scrabble tile. This is really cute and my favorite item in the box. It says the popular phrase, “Keep Calm and Carry On”.
Final Thought: The total value of this box is $38.95, which is about double of the cost. My favorite item is the necklace. I liked the quote magnet and lip balm. The earrings are cute, but something I would wear for holidays. I do wish there wasn't two magnets in the same box and I wish the book marks were a bit larger.
