Austin Lloyd June 2014 Review

Austin Lloyd is a subscription box for children newborn to age 3. Each month, your child gets 4-5 educational toys and at least 1 book. The toys are bpa and phthalate free and they are unique, high end toys, that you will not find at most stores. You will never get toys with batteries. The toys are also chosen to improve fine motor and cognitive skills. Each box is designed for the play level of the child. Austin Lloyd has a breakdown of child development on their website. You choose the play level that fits best for you child.

The box is $49.99 a month, but you can choose to go every other month too. Austin Lloyd also has a donation feature. Once you are done with the toys, and are ready to get rid of them, Austin Lloyd will send you a prepaid shipping label. Austin Lloyd has the cutest boxes in the business, hands down.

6-14-14 004

Austin Lloyd's boxes always look like a present.  When you open the box, there is a cardboard piece with a ribbon.  Austin Lloyd also includes a name tag and an envelope with the age range on it.

Austin Lloyd always includes a card about the theme for the month, along with individual card for each of the items.  The cards tell you about the toy and how that will help your child.  They also give the retail value of the toy.

Moulin Roty Pop Up Animals:  $30.00:  This toys is really awesome.  It is from Moulin Roty, which is a French toy company that makes wooden sophisticated toys for children.  There are no batteries, you just push the heads of the animals.  Depending on how hard you push, they will bob up and down or shoot out.  I may or may not have played with this for five minutes, without my kids.  Super fun toy.

Dancing Feet Book by Lindsey Craig and Marc Brown $6.25:  This is a really cute book about various animals and musical sounds that they make.  T really loves music, so I know he will love this book

Here is a peek inside the book. Aren't the illustrations so adorable?

Quut Cuppi $12.00  This is a awesome sand and water toy.  It is small and ergonomic for tiny hands.  Kids can use the shovels to make tunnels and tracks, and send the ball through the tracks.  There is a hold in the handle that lets kids wright with sand.  You can also use this toy in the bathtub.

Clicker Clacker by Haba $14.99:  This is a fun musical instrument.  I love it because it doesn't make a on of racket and my son loves the sound and how it wiggles.

Final Thought:  This month had a value of $63.25.  Once again, Austin Lloyd delivered value, excitement and fun with their monthly boxes.  I like to save back toys for Christmas and birthdays, but I have to give T his toys this month.  That pop up animals toys is so fun, even I play with it.  Don't forget, you can try Austin Lloyd for better than half off TODAY ONLY.

  1. Britt, June 16, 2014:

I literally just saw this review and rushed to buy the deal on PlumDistrict before midnight. $21 for a $50 box is such a steal. I’ve always had Googaro, Silly Rhino and Austin Lloyd envy, but they’re so pricy we usually go with Citrus Lane or Bluum. I’m really excited to get this box. These are exactly the kind of toys I want for my two and a half year old.
