Austin Lloyd is a subscription box for children newborn to age 3. Each month, your child gets 4-5 educational toys and at least 1 book. The toys are bpa and phthalate free and they are unique, high end toys, that you will not find at most stores. You will never get toys with batteries. The toys are also chosen to improve fine motor and cognitive skills. Each box is designed for the play level of the child. Austin Lloyd has a breakdown of child development on their website. You choose the play level that fits best for you child.
The box is $49.99 a month, but you can choose to go every other month too. Austin Lloyd also has a donation feature. Once you are done with the toys, and are ready to get rid of them, Austin Lloyd will send you a prepaid shipping label. You mail the toys back, and they will donate them to their partnering charities.
This month, the theme was Pond Playdates. The play level is for 2-3 years. Austin Lloyd says ” Between 2 and 3 years, toddlers lean how to jump off low structures and eventually how to jump from a standing position. Both of these skills require bilateral coordination, or the ability to use both sides of your body to do something different.”

Austin Lloyd ships in the cutest boxes. Austin Lloyd sends a shipping notice with their boxes and they ship USPS.
Austin Lloyd's boxes always look like a present. When you open the box, there is a cardboard piece with a ribbon. Austin Lloyd also includes a name tag and an envelope with the age range on it.
Austin Lloyd always includes a card about the theme for the month, along with individual card for each of the items. I like how each card includes how the toy will benefit my child's growth. I can tell Austin Lloyd puts thought and consideration into their boxes.
Spring Is Here $6.99: This story is about a little calf that grows and goes through all the seasons. I love board books for T, because they are sturdy rough toddlers. This has really cute pictures and I can't wait to read it to him.
Small Shovel Moby $2.94 This shovel is made of thick plastic and made for tiny hands. We have some shovels, but I like this is smaller for T. We have a sandbox and T is going to love playing with L. This helps with fine and gross motor skills.
My First Games : One, Two Hoparoo $27.54 This is a really cute game. This comes with big wooden pieces and a large dice. It is great for small hands and makes easy for them to play. I love games both of my boys can play together. This games helps with counting, colors and hand eye coordination.
Hape Go Fish Go $14.99: This is a fun game with a magnetic wand and ball maze. My older son has something like this, and loves it. I am glad T has a smaller toy. This toy helps with basic problem solving, introduces logic, matching, spatial relationships, critical thinking, and and an understanding of cause and effect.
My Little Puppet – Duck $10.99: This puppet is super cuddly and soft. I gave it to T already, and he loves it. Austin Lloyd suggests using puppets to help read a book or act out imaginary play.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $63.45. I love this month's theme of Pond Playdates. T loves the little duck and I am sure he is going to enjoy the other toys. I save some toys back for Christmas and special holidays. I love that Austin Lloyd always sends a book with their boxes, as it is important to me to foster literacy in my boys. Austin Lloyd would make a great gift for any little boy or girl. I like that you can alter your subscription to every other month.
