Ipsy May 2014 Review – Fresh Picks – Beauty Subscription Box
Ipsy May 2014 Review– This post contains referral links
Ipsy is such a fun subscription. At only $10.00 a month, you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items. You can't beat the price and I love the glam bags. You fill out a survey about your makeup preferences and then Ipsy sends a bag geared to your preferences. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think. When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items. I got my tracking number the other day, and I couldn't wait to get my Ipsy April 2014 bag. I had seen glimpses of the bag and I loved it!

Ipsy mails their bag in such fun hot pink bags. They are very sturdy
This month's theme was Fresh Picks.
This month's bag is a canvas material with leaves on it. I love all the Ipsy bags. I have one in each purse for my makeup. They are also good to keep ticket in at Chuck E Cheese. If you get Ipsy, what do you use yours for?
Barefoot Exfoliating Polish $1.14: This is used to buff away dead skin and has properties to make your skin soft. I am excited to try this product.
Pur-Lisse pur moist hyrda balance moisturizer $16.18: My first thought is “wow, that's expensive”. I use Oil of Olay and love it. I am going to try this out and see if it improves my skin.
Nailtini Adios: $13.00: This is blue metallic shade. This is more of a shade I would wear in winter, but the shade isn't bad. I will save this for colder weather.
Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF 50: $1.62: Hang Ten says this is a “clear, lightweight, naturally scented sunscreen” It is actually white and I think it smells like sunscreen. I would have rather had an unscented sunscreen for my face.
Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo $3.92: I saw spoilers of this, and I am so glad I got these colors. I love the purple and the white colored one, has a shimmer and some gold notes. They go on a little pale, so I am going to use this with my new primer.
Final Thought: This month's Ipsy had a total value of $35.86. Despite the high value, this was not my favorite Ipsy. I think I liked my Birchbox this month better. Normally I love Ipsy, so I think this is just an off month for me. If you want to sign up for Ipsy, click HERE.
