The Bouqs Review – Discount – Flower Subscription Box

The Bouqs is a flower subscription service, that sends fresh flowers to your door, as often as you want. The Bouqs sent me this box to review. The Bouqs has bouquets starting at $40.00 and they send blooms to you straight from the farm. They cut on the day you order and deliver, so you get the freshest bouq possible! This means delivery just 2-4 days after cut, vs 10-14 elsewhere. They deliver our Volcano stems from the equator,10,000 feet above sea level, which means one thing: sun. And more sun means more color. These Bouqs are fed by pure volcanic snow melt and mineral-rich, ph-balanced soil. And the California cut flowers come straight from eco-friendly farms on the coast! Bloomin' sweet surf! I love fresh flowers, but never buy them for myself. I never buy flowers, because they always seem to start to wilt on day three. I was excited to see how the Bouqs would hold up.

Cost: The Volcano Collection Bouqs are $40.00, Deluxe $50.00, and Grand $70.00. The California Collection is $50.00 for the original and $60.00 for Deluxe.

What's in the box? Original Bouqs have 12 flowers, Deluxe has 24 and Grand has 36. The Bouqs also includes 10-15% free blooms with every delivery to ensure you get at least what you paid for, and most of the time more!
When will I get my Bouq? They offer overnight delivery if an order is placed before 2:00pm EST / 11:00 PST. The Bouqs deliver Tuesday to Friday. If you're ordering from the Volcano Collection that takes a little more time because the flowers are literally traveling from another continent. To ensure they can fulfill orders from the Volcano, the Bouqs require a minimum window of 6 days.
How often do I get my flowers? You can choose how often you get your flowers. You can get them every week, or every 6 months. When you sign up for a subscription, you get an additional discount on your flowers, starting at 10%. The more frequent you get your flowers, the bigger the discount.

The Bouqs
I placed my order on March 11th and my flowers were delivered March 18th by FedEx.
First Look
Everything was wrapped up together in a box. There were directions on the outside of the box that described how to care for the flowers.
Care Instructions:
1. Fill vase with 1 quart (4 cups) of room temperature water, and mix in flower food.
2. Gently Remove follage wrappers and the cardboard Bouq Protector by pulling out the staples.
3. Cut stems diagonally under running water, approx. 1 inch from the bottom (though this length of cut may vary with vase height). The diagonal cut insures the flowers get enough water.
4. Remove any leaves below the water. Position vase away from direct sunlight, cold breezes or heat sources. Note: it may take 24 hours for the Bouq to fully hydrate and open.

Packaging
I was very careful unwrapping the flowers. All the flowers were wrapped very well and I could tell the flowers were fresh.
The Flowers
Since I got a double Bouq, there were two bundles of at least 12 roses. Once one stem was broken, but since the Bouq include 10-15% more stems. I had more than two dozen flowers.
Beautiful Bouquet
The flowers were simply gorgeous. All the flowers were fresh and beautiful. I loved all the colors together. Each flower was so perfect, they almost didn't seem real.
The Bouqs
I couldn't stop taking pictures of my flowers. For $50.00, the quality is unmatched between any other flowers I have received. Even flowers from the grocery store, are beginning to wilt when I get them. These flowers look like they were just picked from garden. My next question was, “how long do they last?”.
How Long Do They Last?
9 Days later
These pictures were taken 9 days after I received them. As you can see, they still look beautiful. I am amazed with the quality of these flowers, and I will be reordering.

Final Thought: I am very impressed with The Bouqs. The quality of the flowers were wonderful. All the flowers were fresh and in great condition. They were packaged well and shipped properly. The care instructions have kept my flowers beautiful for almost two weeks. I love that you can save on subscriptions and get beautiful flowers delivered.
