Love with Food snack box comes in a little red box wrapped in cellophane. It is shipped by USPS and arrives around the middle of the month.
I saw some chips in my first look, and I was excited to taste them
The theme of this month is Flavors of the World.
The back of the card has a list of all the products in the box, along with a description of each product.
Wai Lana Chips Sea Salt & Vinegar 1 oz: These have the shape and texture of Muncho chips, but have the flavor of salt and vinegar chips. They have zero trans fats and are gluten free. They are also made with Cassava and have 30% less fat than regular potato chips.
Vintage Italia Pasta Chips: These taste like an Italian cracker. They are made with semolina dough and Italian seasoning. They were really good.
Emmy's Chai Spice Macaroons: These are a classic macaroon made over with organic ingredients and Indian chai spices including cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and clove. My husband and I don't like coconut, so these will go to my parents, who love macaroons.
Desert Gardens Taco & Burrito Meat Seasoning: I love Mexican food and am going to use this as soon as I can.
Walkers Shortbread Fingers: These are an old Scottish tradition. This company has been using the same family recipe and uses all natural ingredients. These were really good, but slightly dry. They did have a traditional Scottish shortbread taste.
Taylor's of Harrogate Earl Grey Tea: This is classic Earl Grey Tea. My husband loves tea and he will drink this.
Chimes Chews by Chimes: These are ginger candies. The ginger is grown in the shadow of Mt Bromo, Indonesia. One was a bit spicy (Mango), but the other was really good (original).
Pierrot Gourmand Lollipops: This lollipop is all natural and loved by French children, I received Milky Strawberry. I wasn't a fan of this, I think it was the milky part. It had a bit of an after taste that I didn't like.
Coupons: Love with Food included coupons for Desert Gardens, Walkers, Pasta Chips and Emmy's Organics.
Final Thought: This was a great box. My favorite items were the short bread cookies, pasta chips, the taco seasoning and the Wai Lana chips. I didn't care for the sucker or the macaroons, but I like being surprised by new foods each month. Click HERE and use the code YUMMY to get your first box free (just pay $2.00 shipping).
