Closed Subscription Boxes – March 3, 2014

There are a few new closed subscription boxes.

Project DIY

Project DIY

From Project DIY'S WebsiteAs of March 1st, 2014, we will no longer be offering Project DIY monthly subscriptions.  We are working hard to relaunch a new Project DIY experience along with a collection of new DIY projects through retail partners nation wide starting in the Fall Winter 2014/15.  Connect with us on Facebook and get ready to get your DIY on!

The good news: Project DIY will start focusing on designing four seasonal collections that will be available this Fall at retailers nationwide. Each season â€“ Fall, Holiday, Spring and Summer – will offer fashion DIYers a range of 10-20 projects to choose from each season.

Past collections and single projects can still be purchased online, along with a plethora of other materials for your next DIY project, at www.mjtrim.com and in-store at M&J Trimming.

It is very sad to see Project DIY end their subscription boxes, I really loved them!  I am excited to see what retail stores they will be appearing in!  Thank you Brandy at MommySplurge for letting me know about Project DIY.

Bentley Box posted this on their Facebook page February 27, 2014 “Bentley box Thanks u for your business. Due to unforseen circumstances, we are closing our doors. Refunds will be issued promptly.”

Again, I am sad to see another children's subscription box close.

What do you think about these closed subscription boxes?

It’s sad, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Stork Stack was next. After sending items that were soon recalled, they promised refunds. Then they only offered credits to get more products from that company. And their customer service is non-existent. Citrus Lane will hopefully stay around for a while.
