Bluum is $24.99 a month and each month you get a box of toys, personal items and snacks for the age and stage of your child. Bluum was one of our first subscription boxes. Bluum is different than other children subscription box, but I have liked most all my boxes from them. You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE using the code TRYBLUUM. This month's box was for my T, my 2 year old. It is the 25 month old boy box.
Bluum ships in the same boxes every month and uses USPS.
Bluum includes an information card with the number of the month on it. Bluum emails a list of all the products in the box, after you receive the box.
Babysoy 12-24 Month Socks: $4.99: These are made mostly from azlon from soy, which is a protein based fiber. These are soft socks and a nice color. I don't normally buy individual pairs of socks for $5.00 though. Also, this is a box for a 25 month old and the socks are for 12-24 months. I assume most kids still wear 12-24 month socks at 25 month, but bigger socks would have been nice.
PlayDoh Mini 4 Pack: $3.99. Bluum stated in their email that this had a $13.00 value. It think that is an outrageous amount. I am not sure what price that is based on, but Play-Doh is not that expensive. We have enough Play Doh to last 50 kids, so I will probably save this for a birthday present.
Buddy Blocks Safari: $10.99: Each 4 piece block forms 6 different puzzles featuring colorful animals. The blocks are made with rubber wood and seem very durable. This is a cute little block set. I am putting this in my diaper bag to keep T busy during appointments or restaurants.
Bumpkins Snack Bag – Large: $4.95: We have the smaller snack bags, but this is the nice large size. T can pack down some large amounts of snacks, so this will come in handy.
Boogie Mist Nasal Spray: $7.00: Boogie mist sterile saline nasal spray relieves nasal sinus congestion, pressure and irritation caused by common colds and allergies. Made from natural saline, the kid friendly scented “schnozzle” spray nozzle offers a refreshing alternative to intimidating adult alternatives. T has allergies, so I am sure I will try this. I am not sure how T will do with a nasal spray, but we will find out.
Boogie Wipes Blasters: $1.59: Kids and boogers go hand in hand. These Boogie Blasters manage to dissolve the snot, and do it all with a friendly scent, and a soft, moist alternative to dry tissues. We have tried Boogie Wipes and I like them. I am not sure how these are different from Boogie Wipes, other than the berry scent. I guess this is nose month. I will use these but I am not terribly excited to get two nose products in the same box.
Final Thought: The total value of this box was $33.51. Bluum promises a value of $40.00 each month, and this month fell short. While it didn't meet the promised $40.00 value, the price was over what I paid. I was disappointed in this month's box. The Bumpkins bag and Buddy Blocks were my favorite products this month. The nose care items didn't wow me, and I don't think I needed two different products. I think the socks are nice but not worth $4.99 for some plain socks. I also don't think the Play Doh was that unique and Bluum had it very much over priced. I am hoping Bluum is having an off month and improves next month. If you want to try Bluum, click HERE and use the code TRYBLUUM to save 50% off your first box. That is $12.49 for your first box.
