Ipsy ships in hot pink envelope. It usually arrives near the middle of the month.
Everything was packed in a pink glam bag. I would have preferred pink with sparkles, but this bag is still cute.
The theme of this month was The Look of Love. This is a fitting theme for February.
City Color Be Matte Blush $2.99 Available in 4 shades, this silky-smooth, highly pigmented matte blush compliments and blends evenly with your skin's natural glow. Extremely buildable to create a subtle or dramatic look. I tried this out and loved the color. This can be used for daytime or an evening look. I love that Ipsy included a full size. I also like that it has a $2.99 price point. I generally don't spend lots of money on makeup, and they helps me stay in my budget.
Zoya Odette Polish $9.00 This is a beautiful maroon creme. I love Zoya polishes, because they are 5 Free, vegan friendly and long wearing.
J Cat Eyelashes and Eyelash Glue $3.99 Let me just say I don't wear false eyelashes. I like my own eyelashes and the thought of glue near my eye, creeps me out. Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled to see I was getting these. As far false eyelashes go, these sound pretty good. They are only $3.99 and you can wear them 10 times. The glue is latex free and the lashes are good for sensitive eyes.
Velvet Gel $16.00 The PHYTO-C Velvet Gel reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while nourishing, hydrating, and softening the skin. Can be used as primer before applying makeup. This seems to do some amazing things, but it is expensive! I can't imagine paying $64.00 for 15ml. I did try it out around my eyes. I haven't seen any changes yet, but I image you have to wear it awhile. I am not a makeup expert, so I had a question on how to apply it. It comes with a dropper. Do use the dropper to put it right on my skin?
Pop Beauty Lip Gloss Plump Pout Mini: $16.00 .This plumping pout perfecter combines the high-shine of a lacquered gloss with the long wear of a stain and is packed full of lip-plumping peptides and avocado and jojoba oils. Lightweight, creamy texture immediately merges with lips & delivers intense glossy color for an extremely long-lasting finish! I couldn't tell if the gloss I got in my Ipsy was full size or not. The gloss went on easy and lasted a long time. I love gloss and won't wear it if it is sticky or doesn't work. This gloss is great.
Final Thought: The total value of $47.98. It is slightly less if the Pop Beauty isn't full size. Either way, I loved this month's bag, even with the false eyelashes. The blush, nail polish, and lip gloss were my favorite items. The pink bag was pretty neat too. If you want to sign up for Ipsy, click HERE.
