First Look

This is the first look.  I was excited to see what snacks were in the box.

Information Card

Information Card

Boxtera included an information card with all the snacks in the box.  This cards didn't match up with all the snacks, because this was just a review box.

Wasabi Bean Medley

Wasabi Bean Medley

Wasabi Bean Medley: Boring snackers beware! This is NOT your typical Oriental Mix! boxtera’s Wasabi Bean Medley literally “spices” things up with sesame coated black beans, wasabi coated lentils and black beans to boot. (bitter)

Wasabi Bean Medley

Wasabi Bean Medley: My husband and I really didn't like these.  I thought they were a bit hard and I didn't like the taste.  I shared these with a friend.  My friend and her husband loved them!  They actually ate the whole bag as we talked.

Honey Almond Crunch

Honey Almond Crunch

Honey Almond Crunch: A deliciously simple snack that feeds your sweet and salty cravings without all the empty fillers or preservatives you’ll get in other trail mixes. (savory)

Honey Almond Crunch

Honey Almond Crunch

Honey Almond Crunch: This was my favorite snack in the box.  It reminds me of honey roasted peanuts, only better.  I shared this with some friends and it was really well received.  This has pineapple. apples, honey, cranberries, almonds, among other things.

Mango Chews

Mango Chews

Mango Chews: Always picked at precisely the right time for superb chewiness and fresh flavor, boxtera Mango Chews taste like their grabbed straight of the tree! (sour)

Mango Chews: I am not crazy about the texture of these but the flavor is great.  It tastes just like mango.

BBQ Banana Chips

BBQ Banana Chips

BBQ Banana Chips: These are a Boxtera fan favorite

BBQ Banana Chips:  I received these in a past Boxtera box and I really liked these.  These are a great snack

Banana Ribbons

Banana Ribbons

Banana Ribbons: Need an energy boost? Our perfectly chewy and sweet Banana Ribbons are high in protein and loaded with essential vitamins. (sweet)

Banana Ribbons

Banana Ribbons

Banana Ribbons: I was really excited to try these.  My 23 month old eats  tons of bananas.  I had him try one, but he was not a fan.  They taste like they have a cinnamon coating, but the ingredients say they have Bananas and Sulfur Dioxide (as a preservative).

Final Thought: Overall, I thought this was a good box.  I really liked the Mango Chews, BBQ Banana Chips, and the Honey Almond Crunch.  I didn't care for Wasabi Bean Medley, but my friends loved it.  I wished the Banana Ribbons didn't have the cinnamon flavor.  If you want to try Boxtera, click HERE.  Boxtera is also giving one reader a free month!  Just enter below for a chance to win.  The contest closes March 3rd, so be sure to enter!

  1. Brandi Y., February 24, 2014:

The packaging and products seem almost identical to Nature Box. Do they have the same supplier. It is very odd to me.

  2. Jenn, February 26, 2014:

Definitely want to try this out–great snacks before working out!
