New Subscription Box: Nadine West Review and Giveaway for the First 50 People
Nadine West is a new subscription service that sends fashion and jewelry to your door for FREE, that's right, FREE. When Nadine West asked me to review their subscription, I was very intrigued and said yes. When you sign up for Nadine West, you fill out a style profile online and then Nadine West will send you a shirt or dress plus 2-4 pieces of jewelry. They will authorize your card for the amount of the items. You will not be charged (it will show as pending). Obviously, if they didn't do this, people would just keep the items without paying. I was sent just jewelry for my review.

How much is shipping? Free both ways. They send you postage to put on you envelope, when you want to return items.
What is the pending charge on my card? From Nadine West:
“Short Answer: The Pending Charge will NOT apply to your account until the end of your two-week period is up (if you keep all/some of the items). It is only present to ensure you have enough funds on your card to cover the potential charge amount. At the end of the two week period, the reserved funds will vanish without capturing the amount on your card if you do not choose to keep items. This method is NOT charging and refunding an amount as the pending amount never pushes through as an actual charge.
In short: it’s a safety net to make sure people have the ability to pay for items without actually charging them.
More Detail: Credit card companies are tricky. Since we’re sending valuable jewelry to you and aren’t charging up-front, the only manner we can verify that people can pay is by “authorizing†the amount via your credit card company. All this means is that the credit card company authorizes that you have the necessary funds to cover a certain amount, should you need it. The amount will appear on your pending charges, but will not become permanent until we “capture†the amount, which occurs after your two week period IF you decide to keep any of your items. “
When am I charged: You are charged for any items you haven't sent back after 2 weeks.

Nadine West send an card with the prices of all the items with directions on how to mail back what you don't want. They also send labels with their information and yours to put on the label, stickers to seal the envelope and return postage. I was also send a thank you letter for my review

I would not pick this out, but I like it. It's not too big and it's very unique. I like that it is a pretty versatile piece and would look great with a plain top.

These are very pretty and are very reasonably priced. These are a bit bigger than what I usually wear. I will give these to my mother for Christmas. She will love them.

Final Thought: This is a very unique subscription service. I love that it's FREE . You can get jewelry shipped to your home and return it, without ever paying anything. I really like the jewelry I was sent. You will have to make sure there is room on your card for the items they send (as there will be a pending charge, until you return your unwanted items). This is a great way to find new tops and jewelry items risk free. Nadine West has also given me a giveaway for the first 50 people that sign up. See details below.
